Three Phrases that Mean Everything

Three Phrases that Mean Everything

Then Jesus said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.” The people
sitting at the table began to think to themselves, “Who does
this man (Jesus) think he is? How can he forgive sins?” Jesus
said to the woman, “Because you believed, you are saved {from
your sins}. Go in peace.”

Luke 7:48-50 (ERV)

KEY THOUGHT:
Jesus, our Savior, says, “Your sins are forgiven. Your faith has saved you; go in peace.” Can you think of anything sweeter? Three phrases that mean everything! Jesus’ words to the woman are a great reminder to us just how he feels when we show our love to him — not just when we confess our faith, not just when we are baptized, but any time we show our love for Jesus extravagantly!

TODAY’S PRAYER:
Thank you, Father, for receiving my gifts of thanks and appreciation.
Thank you, Lord Jesus, for affirming those gifts given in your honor by reminding me and the hosts of heaven that I’m forgiven, saved, and given the gift of peace. Even in returning my thanks, you bless me! All praises to the Father for his sacrificial love. All thanks to the Lord Jesus for his saving gift. All thanks to the Holy Spirit for filling my heart with joy. Amen.
