Proverb 31

Pro 31:1 The words of King Lemuel, the burden that his mother taught him:
Pro 31:2 What, my son? And what, the son of my womb? And what, the son of my vows?
Pro 31:3 Do not give your strength to women, or your ways to that which wipes out kings.
Pro 31:4 It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine, nor for princes to lust for fermented drink,
Pro 31:5 that they not drink and forget what is decreed, and pervert the right of the sons of affliction.
Pro 31:6 Give fermented drink to one perishing, and wine to the bitter of soul,
Pro 31:7 let him drink and forget his poverty, and remember his misery no more.
Pro 31:8 Open your mouth for the dumb, in the cause of all the sons of those passing away.
Pro 31:9 Open your mouth, judge righteously, and defend the poor and needy.
Pro 31:10 Who can find a woman of virtue? For her value is far above jewels.
Pro 31:11 The heart of her husband trusts in her, so that he has no lack of gain.
Pro 31:12 She deals good with him, and not evil, all the days of her life.
Pro 31:13 She seeks wool and flax, and she works with her hands with delight.
Pro 31:14 She is like the merchant ships, she brings in her food from afar.
Pro 31:15 She also rises while it is still night and gives game to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
Pro 31:16 She has examined a field and takes it; she plants a vineyard from the fruit of her hands.
Pro 31:17 She has girded her loins with strength, and has made her arms strong.
Pro 31:18 She tastes whether her gain is good, her lamp is not put out by night.
Pro 31:19 She has sent forth her hands on the distaff, and her hands have held the spindle.
Pro 31:20 She spreads out her hands to the poor, yea, she stretches out her hands to the needy.
Pro 31:21 She is not afraid of the snow for her household, for all her household are clothed with scarlet.
Pro 31:22 She makes herself ornamental coverings; her clothing is bleached linen and purple.
Pro 31:23 Her husband is known in the gates, when he sits with the elders of the land.
Pro 31:24 She makes fine linen garments, and sells, and she delivers girdles to the merchant.
Pro 31:25 Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she shall rejoice at the day to come.
Pro 31:26 She opens her mouth in wisdom, and the law of kindness is on her tongue.
Pro 31:27 She watches the ways of her household, and does not eat the bread of idleness.
Pro 31:28 Her children rise up and call her blessed, her husband also, for he praises her:
Pro 31:29 Many are the daughters who act with virtue, but you rise above them all!
Pro 31:30 Grace may be deceitful, and beauty vain, but a woman who fears Jehovah, she shall be praised.
Pro 31:31 Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her works praise her in the gates.
