We are currently experiencing a larger request volume, please be patient while we wait for the ESV Bibles to make their way from us to you.<\/p>\n

To be clear, this is a very small, very budgeted personal ministry of delivering Bibles to people who need one. \u00a0We have received a lot of repeat requests, and even more requests for more than one Bible. \u00a0At this time I am currently trying to understand how I can keep pace with the request volume. \u00a0That being said, the amount of time that passes before the Bible is shipped and where you have put your request into the list is completely out of my control. \u00a0I am doing the best that I can. \u00a0Thank you for your patience.<\/p>\n

How long did it take to translate the ESV Bible?<\/p>\n

Would you believe it took nearly 500 years to translate the ESV Bible? That\u2019s because the ESV builds on the great translations of the past including William Tyndale\u2019s New Testament of 1526 and the King James Version (KJV) of 1611.<\/p>\n
