J.C. Ryle\u2019s Favorite Hymn: Rock of Ages<\/p>\n
According to Ryle\u2019s biographers, Peter Toon and Michael Smout, J.C. Ryle\u2019s favorite hymn was \u201cRock of Ages\u201d, a hymn composed by Augustus M. Toplady, an Anglican clergyman and hymn-writer, in 1775. This hymn was also sung at Ryle\u2019s funeral. Enjoy the video below, sung by the Antrim Mennonite Choir.<\/p>\n
