Psa 107:1 Give thanks to Jehovah, for He is good; for His mercy endures forever.
\nPsa 107:2 Let the redeemed of Jehovah say so, whom He redeemed from the hand of the foe;
\nPsa 107:3 and gathered them from the lands; from east and from west; from north and from south.
\nPsa 107:4 They wandered in the wilderness, in a desert way; they found no city of dwelling;
\nPsa 107:5 hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them;
\nPsa 107:6 and they cried to Jehovah in their distress; He delivered them from their straits.
\nPsa 107:7 And He guided them in the right way; to go to a city of dwelling.
\nPsa 107:8 Let them thank Jehovah for His mercy, and His wonders to the sons of man.
\nPsa 107:9 He satisfies the thirsty soul, and He fills the hungry soul with good.
\nPsa 107:10 Those who live in the darkness, and in the shadow of death, being prisoners in affliction and iron,
\nPsa 107:11 because they rebelled against the Words of God, and despised the counsel of the Most High;
\nPsa 107:12 and He humbled their heart by toil; they stumbled, and none were helping;
\nPsa 107:13 and they cried to Jehovah in their distress; He saved them out of their distresses;
\nPsa 107:14 He brought them out from darkness and the shadow of death; and He broke their bonds apart.
\nPsa 107:15 Let them thank Jehovah for His mercy, and His wonders to the sons of man.
\nPsa 107:16 For He has broken the gates of bronze; and He cut bars of iron in two.
\nPsa 107:17 Fools are afflicted from the way of their rebellion, and from their iniquities;
\nPsa 107:18 their soul hates every food; and they touch the gates of death;
\nPsa 107:19 and they cried to Jehovah in their distress; He saved them from their straits;
\nPsa 107:20 He sent His Word and healed them; and delivered them from all their pitfalls.
\nPsa 107:21 Let them thank Jehovah for His mercy, and His wonders to the sons of man.
\nPsa 107:22 And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and recount His works with rejoicing.
\nPsa 107:23 They who go down to the sea in ships, who work in the great waters;
\nPsa 107:24 these see the works of Jehovah, and His wonders in the deep.
\nPsa 107:25 For He speaks, and He raises stormy wind, and makes its waves high;
\nPsa 107:26 they go up to the heavens; they go down to the depths; their soul is melted because they are in evil;
\nPsa 107:27 they reel and stagger like a drunken man, and all their wisdom is swallowed up;
\nPsa 107:28 and they cry to Jehovah in their distress, and He saves them out of their straits.
\nPsa 107:29 He settles the storm to a whisper, so that its waves are still;
\nPsa 107:30 and they are glad, because they are quiet; and He led them to their desired haven.
\nPsa 107:31 Let them thank Jehovah for His mercy, and His wonders to the sons of mankind;
\nPsa 107:32 and exalt Him in the congregation of the people; and praise Him in the seat of the elders.
\nPsa 107:33 He sets rivers to a wilderness, and watersprings to thirsty ground;
\nPsa 107:34 a fruitful land to a salty desert; because of the wickedness of those who live in it.
\nPsa 107:35 He puts the wilderness into pools of water; and dry land into water-springs;
\nPsa 107:36 and He makes the hungry live there, and they may prepare a city of dwelling.
\nPsa 107:37 And they sow the fields, and plant vineyards, and make fruits of produce.
\nPsa 107:38 He also blesses them, so that they multiply greatly; and He does not allow their cattle to diminish;
\nPsa 107:39 but they are diminished and bowed down from coercion, evil and grief.
\nPsa 107:40 He pours scorn on nobles, and causes them to wander in a desert; there is no path.
\nPsa 107:41 But He raises the poor up from affliction, and He sets families like a flock.
\nPsa 107:42 The upright shall see and be glad; and all iniquity shuts its mouth.
