\nJesus said:
\nHe who uncovers
\nThe significance of these words
\nShall not taste death.
\n2.)
\nLet him who seeks,
\nNot cease from his search
\nuntil he finds.
\nWhen he finds he will be bewildered,
\nAnd when bewildered,
\nHe will wonder, and reign over the All.
\n3.)
\nIf your guides claim
\nthat the kingdom is in the sky,
\nThe birds of the sky will be there before you.
\nIf they see it is in the sea,
\nThe fishes of the sea will be there before you.
\nThe kingdom is within you and without you.
\nWhen you know yourselves, you will be known.
\nThen you shall know that you are
\nSons of the Living Father.
\nBut if you do not know yourselves
\nYou are in poverty, and you are poverty.

\nAn old man heavy in years,
\nWill not hesitate
\nTo ask a baby seven days old,
\nAbout the Place of Life.
\nAnd he shall live, for many
\nWho are first shall be last,
\nUnited within the Single One.

\nJesus said:
\nKnow what is before you.
\nThat which is hidden will be revealed.
\n6.)
\nHis disciples asked him:
\nDo you want us to fast?
\nHow should we pray
\nand distribute alms?
\nWhat rules should we observe in eating?
\nJesus replied:
\nDo not lie.
\nDo not do what you dislike,
\nFor all is revealed before heaven.
\nEverything hidden will be revealed.
\nNothing covered will remain undiscovered.

\nBlessed is the lion
\nEaten by a man, so that
\nit becomes a man.
\nProfane is the man
\neaten by a lion
\nso that he becomes a lion.
\n8.)
\nMan is like a skilful fisherman,
\ncasting his net into the sea
\nand drawing it out replete with small fish.
\nIf the wise fisherman finds amongst them a large fish
\nHe throws the smaller back into the sea,
\nHaving selected the largest with ease.
\nHe who has ears to hear, let him hear.

\nJesus said:
\nA sower came forth,
\nFilled his hands, and cast.
\nA few seeds fell upon the road, where
\nBirds came down and devoured them.
\nOthers fell among thorns,
\nWhere they choked, or were eaten by worms.
\nStill others fell upon good ground,
\nWhere they could bring forth good fruit.

\nJesus said:
\nI have cast
\nA fire upon the world,
\nand i rekindle it
\nuntil it burns.
\n11.)
\nThis Heaven shall pass away
\nand that above shall pass away.
\nThe dead no longer live.
\nThe living no longer die.
\nWhen you ate good things
\nIt was you who gave them life.
\nBut what are you going to do in the Light?
\nWhen you were one
\nYou were made two, but when you are two,
\nwhat are you going to do?

\nWe know that you are to leave us.
\nWhich of us is to be leader?
\nWhenever you have gone
\nJesus replied:
\nYou will go to James the Just
\nFor whom
\nHeaven and Earth came into being.

\nJesus addressed his disciples:
\nCompare me to someone.
\nTell me whom i resemble.
\nSimon Peter said:
\nLike a just Angel.
\nMatthew answered:
\nLike a wise philosopher.
\nBut Thomas replied:
\nTruly Master, my mouth
\nCannot bring itself to utter comparisons.
\nAND Jesus said:
\nI am no longer your master.
\nYou have drunk from the bubbling fountain
\nwhich i brought,
\nand you are drunk.
\nHe took Thomas aside,
\nand said three words to him.
\nWhen Thomas returned,
\nhis companions asked:
\nWhat did Jesus tell you?
\nAnd he replied:
\nIf i related even one of the words
\nhe told me, you would gather stones,
\nand hurl them at me, whereupon fire would leap from
\nthe stones,and burn you.

\nJesus said:
\nIf you fast,
\nyou will create sins for yourselves.
\nIf you pray you will be condemned.
\nIf you give alms, you will injure yourselves.
\nIf you go into a land and wander throughout its area,
\nand are offered hospitality,
\nEat what is set before you.
\nHeal the sick among them.
\nIt is not what goes into your mouth that defiles you
\nBut what comes out of your mouth that defiles you.

\nWhen you perceive
\nOne not born of woman,
\nProstate yourselves
\nand worship him. He is your father.

\nMen think that
\nI came to bring peace to the world
\nThey do not know that
\ni bring division,
\nfire and sword and war.
\nThere shall be five in a house
\nWith three against two
\nand two against three;
\nThe father against the son,
\nand the son against the father,
\nand they shall stand alone.

\nJesus said:
\nI shall give you
\nwhat no eye has seen,
\nNo ear heard, no hand touched
\nnor any heart received.

\nThe Disciples said to him:
\nWarn us how our end will be.
\nJesus replied:
\nHave you already discovered
\nthe beginning, now that
\nyou are asking about the end?
\nWherever the beginning is, there
\nshall be the end.
\nBlessed is he who stands
\nat the beginning, for he understands
\nthe end without tasting death.

\nBlesses is he who was before he became.
\nIf you become my disciples and respond to my
\nwords, stones will rise to your service.
\nYou have five trees in Paradise,
\nimmobile during summer and winter,
\nNever shedding their leaves.
\nHe who knows them all shall never taste death.

\nThe disciples challenged him:
\nTell us what the kingdom of heaven is like.
\nHe answered:
\nThe kingdom is like a grain of mustard.
\nAlthough smaller than all the other seeds,
\nwhen it falls upon tilled earth,
\nit sends forth a great branch,
\nWhich became a splendid harbour for birds.

\nMary Magdalene asked Jesus:
\nWhat are your disciples like?
\nHe said:
\nThey are like children
\nsettled in a field not theirs.
\nWhen the owners of the field
\napproach them, and order,
\nGive us back our field!
\nThey will be naked before them, and
\nwill hand it over.
\nSo i say to you:
\nIf a householder is aware
\nthat a thief is coming,
\nhe will await his arrival,
\nblock his way into the house,
\nThe kingdom, and so protect his property.
\nBe wary of the world.
\nGird your loins in strength
\nSo that no robbers enter,
\nFor the benefits you expect
\nwill be found: may there wise among you a man of
\nunderstanding.
\nWhen the fruit is ripening,
\nhe comes with his swift sickle, and reaps.
\nHe who has ears to hear, let him hear.

\nJesus saw little ones being fed.
\nHe addressed his disciples:
\nThese babies being nursed
\nare like those entering the kingdom.
\nThey asked: Shall we enter the kingdom?
\nWe are small.
\nJesus said:
\nWhen you make two into one
\nand what is within like what is without,
\nand what is without like what was within.
\nAnd what is above like what is below,
\nand when you unite male and female in one
\nSo that the male is no longer male,
\nand the female is no longer female,
\nWhen you make eyes in place of an eye
\nand a hand in place of a hand,
\nand a foot in place of a foot
\nand an image in place of an image,
\nThen you shall enter the Kingdom.

\nI shall choose
\nOne from a thousand,
\nand two from ten thousand,
\nand they shall stand in unity.

\nTeach us about the PLACE
\nWhere you live,
\nFor we must seek it.
\nHe said:
\nHe who has ears let him hear.
\nThere is light in a man of light,
\nWho gives light to the world.
\nIf he does not give light,
\nthere is only Darkness.

\nLove your brother
\nLike your own soul. Cherish him.
\nLike the apple of your eye.

\nYou see the mote
\nwithin your brothers eye
\nbut you do not see the beam
\nwithin your own.
\nOnce you have extracted the beam
\nfrom your own eye,
\nyou can remove the mote from your brothers.
\n27.)
\nUnless
\nYou abstain from the world,
\nyou will not find the kingdom.
\nUnless you honor the sabbath,
\nyou will not see the Father.
\n28.)
\nI stood
\nIn the midst of the world,
\nand i found everyone drunk,
\nand none thirsty.
\nThen my soul was sorry
\nfor all the sons of men,
\nbecause they are blind in their hearts.
\nThey cannot realize that they have come
\nempty into the world,
\nand must leave it empty.
\nNow they are drunk,
\nBut when they renounce the wine,
\nthey will repent.

\nIf the flesh
\ncame into being for the sake
\nof the spirit,that is
\na mystery. But if
\nthe spirit came into being
\nfor the sake of the body,
\nThat is a wondrous miracle.
\nHow did such great wealth
\nmake its home, i wonder,
\nin such poverty?

\nWhere there are three Gods,
\nThey are Gods.
\nWhere there are two,or one,
\nI am with Him.
\n31.)
\nNo prophet is honoured
\nin his homeland.
\nNo physician heals those
\nwho know him well.

\nNo city
\nBuilt upon a mountain,
\nand well fortified,
\ncan fall, or conceal itself.

\nJesus said:
\nWhatever you hear,
\nWith one ear and the other,
\nPreach from the housetops.
\nNobody lights a lamp in order
\nto place it under a bushel
\nor to hide it is some secret place.
\nSet it upon a lampstand,
\nso that all who enter or depart
\nmay see its light.

\nWhen the blind lead the blind,
\nthey fall together into the ditch.
\n35.)
\nNobody can enter
\nthe house of a strong man,
\nor seize it by force,
\nunless his hands are tied.
\nOnly then can the house be
\nransacked.

\nHis disciples asked: When will you appear to us
\nand when shall we see you?
\nJesus answered:
\nWhen you shed your shame,and take your cloths,
\nPlace them on the ground,and trample them underfoot
\nlike children, Then you shall see The Son of the
\nLiving One, and will not be afraid.

\nYou have often wished
\nto hear the words
\ni now express.
\nWhen you have no other to listen to,
\ndays will come when you shall search,
\nbut never find me.

\nThe scribes and Pharisees
\nreceived the keys of understanding,and hid them.
\nThey did not enter,nor allowed entrance to those
\nwho so wished. Be wise as serpents,and innocent as doves.
\n40.)
\nA vine was planted outside the father, yet as it was
\nnever tethered it was torn from the roots,and died.
\n41.)
\nHe who has something in his hands,
\nwill receive, and from him who has
\nnothing,shall be taken away all
\nthat he possesses.

\nJesus said:
\nBe passers-by.
\n43,)
\nHis disciples said:
\nWho are you to say that to us?
\nYou do not understand
\nWho i am, from what i say.
\nYou have become like the Jews.
\nThey love the tree and hate the fruit.
\nOr they love the fruit and hate the tree.

\nHe who blasphemes against the father
\nshall be forgiven,and he who blasphemes
\nagainst the son shall be forgiven,but he
\nwho blasphemes against the holy ghost shall not be
\nforgiven on earth or in heaven.

\nNo grapes
\nAre gathered from thorn,
\nnor are figs plucked from camelthorn.
\nA good man produces good from his treasure.
\nAn evil man brings forth evil from his heart,
\nspeaking evil when he expresses himself.
\n46.)
\nJesus said:
\nFrom the first man
\nto John the Baptist,
\nno one born of woman is higher
\nthan John the Baptist,whose
\neyes remain unbroken.
\nWhoever becomes small
\nshall understand the kingdom,
\nand be exalted above John.
\n47.)
\nA man can not mount two horses,
\nor bend two bows,
\nA servant cannot obey two masters,for
\nhe must honor the one, and despise the other.
\nNobody at once drinks old wine.and desires new.
\nNor is new wine packed within old skins,
\nlest they crack.
\nOld wine is not contained within new skins,
\nlest they perish.
\nAn old patch is not grafted upon new cloths, for it
\nwill tear.

\nIf two
\nMake peace with one another in the same house,
\nthey can order the mountain to move,
\nand it will move.

\nJesus said:
\nBlessed are the solitary,and the elect
\nfor they shall discover the kingdom from which
\nthey come, and to which they must return.

\nIf you are asked your origins, answer:
\nWe have come out of the light
\nwhere the light came of itself.
\nIt rested appearing in their image.
\nIt you are asked your identity, answer:
\nWe are his sons, and The Elect of the
\nLiving Father.
\nIf asked for a sign of your father, answer:
\nMovement and repose.

\nHis disciples asked Jesus:
\nWhen will begin the repose of the dead?
\nAnd when will the new world appear?
\nHe answered:
\nThe sanctuary you expect is here,
\nAlthough you cannot recognize it.

\nHis disciples commented:
\n24 prophets spoke in Israel.
\nAll referred to you.
\nJesus replied:
\nYou have neglected the one who lives
\nin your presence, in order to talk
\nabout the dead.
\n53.)
\nHis disciples asked:
\nIs circumcision of use?
\nHe said:
\nif it were useful, your father
\nwould of begotten you circumcised out
\nof your mother.
\nBut the real circumcision of the Spirit
\nhas always been useful and nothing but useful.

\nBlessed are the poor,
\nFor theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
\n55.)
\nJesus said:
\nHe who does not hate Father and Mother cannot be
\nmy disciple, as he who does not hate brother and sister,
\nand take up his cross as i did, cannot ever become worthy of
\nme. 56.)
\nHe who has known the world
\nhas found a corpse,
\nand the world is unworthy of him
\nwho has found a corpse.
\n57.)
\nThe Kingdom of the Father
\nis like a farmer who possessed good seed.
\nOne night, his enemy sowed Tares among the seed,
\nbut the farmer refused to pull up the tares,
\nsaying:You may uproot wheat as well.
\nOn the harvest day, the tares will appear, be uprooted
\nand burned.

\nBlessed is the man who has suffered, for he has truly
\ndiscovered life.

\nLook to the Living One
\nas long as you live, lest you die,
\nThen search for him, and fail.
\n60.)
\nA Samaritan was bearing a lamb towards Judea.
\nJesus asked his disciples why he wanted the animal.
\nThey replied that he wished to kill it and to eat it.
\nHe replied:
\nAs long as it is alive,
\nhe will not eat it.
\nHe can only once it is dead.
\nThere is no other way, they said.
\nHe answered:
\nYou too are seeking rest in order to avoid
\nbecoming corpses, and ripe for being eaten.

\nTwo share one bed.
\nOne shall live, and the other die.
\nSalome challenged him, Who are you?
\nDid you mount my bed,
\nand eat from my table?
\nJesus addressed her:
\nI am an equal.
\nI have been giving things belonging to my father.
\nSalome replied, I am your disciple.
\nAnd Jesus responded:
\nWhen a man is growing equal, he shall be suffused
\nwith light, but when he is growing apart, he shall
\nbe consumed with darkness.

\nI reveal my secrets
\nto those deserving of them.
\nDo not let your left hand know
\nwhat your right is doing.

\nA rich man owned a great fortune, and
\ndetermined to employ it so as to sow, reap, plant, and fill
\nhis barns with fruit, that he may lack nothing.
\nThat very night, he died.
\nHe who has ears to hear let him hear.

\nHaving prepared a banquet,
\na host sent his servant to summon the guest.
\nHe went to the first and said:
\nMy master has invited you.
\nSome merchants who are in my debt
\nare visiting me tonight. I have to advise them.
\nI am sorry i can not come.
\nHe visited another and said:
\nMy master has sent an invitation to you.
\nThat one replied:
\nI have bought a house, and made an appointment
\nfor today. I have no time.
\nHe went to another and offered:
\nMy master has invited you.
\nHe was told:
\nMy friend is getting married, and i am organizing a
\ndinner to celebrate.I can not come i must be excused.
\nThen he approached another and said:
\nMy master invited you. He was answered:
\nI have just bought an estate, and am about to collect the
\nrents.I shall not be able to come.
\nThe servant returned to his master, and reported:
\nAll those you invited are unable to come.
\nThe master responded:
\nGo out into the streets;bring in all you find to
\npartake of the banquet.
\nMerchants and dealers shall not enter the abode
\nof my father.
\n65.)
\nA virtuous man owned a vineyard which he gave
\nto farmers to be tilled, having agreed to
\nreceive the fruit from them.
\nHe sent his servant to collect the fruits, and he
\nwas seized, beaten and almost killed.The servant
\nreturned, and told his master of this. Perhaps
\nthey did not recognize him, thought the master.
\nSo he sent another servant. The farmers beat him too.
\nThen the man sent his son thinking they will respect
\nmy son.The farmers knew that he was the heir, and they
\nseized and killed him.
\nHe who has ears to hear let him hear.

\nShow me the stone, which the builders rejected.
\nIt is the head of the corner.

\nHe who knows the All
\nand does not know himself
\nhas missed everything.
\n68.)
\nYou are blessed,
\nwhen men beat you, and persecute you for
\nthey shall find no place still standing
\nwhere they have tormented you.

\nBlessed are they who have been persecuted in
\ntheir hearts.They have known the father in truth.
\nBlessed are the hungry, for he who desires
\nwill be satisfied.

\nWhen you produce this within,
\nwhat you have will save you.
\nWhat you do not have within will
\nkill you.

\nJesus said:
\nI shall destroy this house, and nobody will be
\nable to restore it.
\n72.)
\nA man requested:
\nTell my brothers
\nto divide my fathers things with me.
\nHe replied:
\nWho made me a divider?
\nTurning to his disciples, he said:
\nDo i divide things up?
\n73.)
\nThe harvest is great,
\nbut the labourers are few.
\nAsk the Lord to send
\nLabourers to the harvest.
\n74.)
\nLook there are many people around the well,
\nbut there is nobody within the well.
\n75.)
\nThere are many at the door.
\nBut only the solitary ones shall
\nenter the Bridal Chamber.
\n76.)
\nThe Kingdom of the Father
\nis like a merchant, who
\nfound a pearl to add on to his possessions.
\nBeing a clever merchant, he sold his other
\npossessions, and bought himself the pearl alone.
\nSeek like him the treasure which does not fade, in
\nthe place where no moths enter to consume, and no
\nworms to corrupt.

\nJesus said:
\nI am the Light
\nThat is above them all.
\nI am the All.
\nThe all came from me,
\nand the all has returned to me.
\nSplit wood and i am there.
\nRaise a stone and you will find me.

\nWhy have you come into the field?
\nTo see a reed tremble in the wind?
\nTo observe a man wearing soft cloth?
\nYour kings and great men
\nall wear soft cloths and yet they cannot
\nsee the truth.

\nA woman from the crowd addressed him:
\nBlessed is the womb that gave you birth and
\nthe women who nursed you.
\nHe answered:
\nBlessed are those who heard the WORD of the
\nFather and maintained it in truth, for the day
\nwill come when you will say blessed is the womb
\nwhich has not conceived, and the woman who has not nursed.

\nHe who has known the world has found the body, but he who
\nhas found the body, is to great for the world.

\nHe who is rich
\ncan become a king.
\nHe who has power can do without.

\nHe who is close to me is close to fire:

\nAppeared to man, and the Light
\nwithin is hidden in the image
\nof the Fathers Light.
\nHe will reveal Himself,
\nand his image hidden by light.

\nWhen you see your likeness,
\nyou are happy, but when you see
\nyour images rising before you without
\nsubsiding or approaching,
\nhow long can you stand that?

\nthe first man emerged
\nfrom a great power and great wealth,
\nand was still unworthy of you.
\nHad he been worthy, he would not of
\nexperienced death.

\nFoxes have their lairs,
\nand birds their nests.
\nBut the son of man has no place to lay
\ndown his head, and rest.

\nWretched is the body
\ndependent upon the body,
\nand wretched is the soul
\ndependent upon them both.

\nJesus said:
\nThe angels and the prophets
\nshall visit you, and give you
\nwhat is yours. For your part, give them
\nwhat you have in your hand and ask yourselves
\nwhen they will come to take what is theirs.

\nWhy do you wash
\nthe surface of the chalice?
\nDo you not understand that the man who made the
\noutside also created the inside?

\nCome to me for
\nmy yoke is light,
\nmy rule is mild and you shall
\nfind repose.

\nThey said to him:
\nTell us who you are
\nso that we may believe in you.
\nHe replied:
\nYou are testing the face of
\nHeaven and Earth and have not
\nrecognized the man before you.
\nYou do not even know how to
\ntest this moment.
\n92.)
\nJesus said:
\nSeek and you shall find.
\nWhat you have asked me recently.
\nI did not tell you then.
\nI want to tell you now,
\nwhen you are not asking me.
\n93.)
\nDo not give the sacred to dogs,
\nlest it be cast on the dung-heap.
\nDo not cast pearls before swine,
\nlest they destroy them.
\n94.)
\nHe who seeks shall find
\nand the doors will be opened to him.
\nWho knocks.
\n95.)
\nIf you have money,
\ndo not lend it out at interest but give
\nit to him who can not repay it.

\nThe Kingdom of Heaven
\nis like a woman who takes a little
\nleaven, puts it in dough, and makes
\nlarge loaves. He who has ears to hear,
\nlet him hear.
\n97.)
\nThe Kingdom of Heaven is like a women carrying a jug
\nfull of meal on a long journey. When the handle broke,
\nthe meal streamed out behind her, so that she never
\nnoticed anything was wrong until arriving home,
\nshe sat down the jug and discovered it was empty.
\n98.)
\nThe Kingdom of heaven is like a man who wished
\nto assassinate a noble. He drew his sword at home, and
\nstruck it against the wall, to test whether his hand were
\nstrong enough. Then he went out and killed the noble.
\n99.)
\nThe Disciples said to him:
\nYour brothers and your mother are outside.
\nHe answered:
\nThose who perform the will of my Father are my
\nbrothers and mother.
\nThey are the ones who will enter
\nMy Fathers Kingdom.
\n100.)
\nThey showed Jesus a gold coin and said:
\nCaesars men wanted tribute from us.
\nHe replied:
\nRender unto Caesar what belongs to
\nCaesar, and render unto God, what belongs
\nto God, and give me what is mine.
\n101.)
\nHe who does not hate
\nhis father and his mother as i do
\ncannot be my disciple, and who does not
\nlove his mother and father as i do,
\ncannot be my disciple. for my mother
\nkilled me, but my true mother has given me life.

\nWoe to the Pharisees.
\nThey resemble a dog in a manger,
\nwho neither eats, nor allows the oxen to eat.
\n103.)
\nBlessed is he who knows
\nthe time of the robbers arrival, for
\nhe can rise, collect himself, and gird
\nhis loins in preparation.
\n104.)
\nThey said:
\nCome. Let us pray today and fast.
\nJesus said:
\nWhat sin have i committed?
\nWhat have i failed to do?
\nWhen the bridegroom departs from
\nthe bridal chamber, then you can
\nfast and pray.
\n105.)
\nHe who knows
\nhis father and his mother shall
\nbe called a bastard.
\n106.)
\nWhen you make the two one, you will
\nbecome Sons of Man, and if you order the
\nmountain to move, it will move.
\n107.)
\nThe kingdom is like a shepherd, who owned a
\nhundred sheep, the largest of which went astray. He
\nleft the 99, in search of the one until he found it.
\nAfter all his trouble, he said to the sheep:
\nI love you more than the 99.
\n108.)
\nWhoever drinks from my mouth shall become like him.
\nFor him, the hidden will be revealed.
\n109.)
\nThe kingdom is like a man who is ignorant of the
\ntreasure hidden in a field. When he dies he
\nleaves it to his son who sells it.Being aware also
\nof the treasure within.The buyer will come, discover the
\ntreasure while ploughing, and lend out money at interest.
\n110.)
\nHe who has found the world and riches, should then deny the
\nworld.
\n111.)
\nThe heavens will be rolled back, and the earth unfurled
\nbefore your eyes.The Living One out of The Living One sees
\nneither death nor fear, for Jesus says the world is unworthy
\nof the man who finds themselves.

\nJesus said:
\nWoe to the flesh that is dependent upon the Soul, and
\nwoe to the soul that is dependent upon the flesh.

\nHis disciples questioned:
\nWhen will the kingdom come?
\nJesus answered:
\nIt will never come if you are
