Shafer <\/p>\n<p>HOW DO I GET UNDERSTANDING? <\/p>\n<p>(=To distinguish, discern, be wise, skillful, prudent) <\/p>\n<p>Ps.111:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good UNDERSTANDING have all they that do his commandments&#8230; <\/p>\n<p>Ps.119:73 They hands have made me and fashioned me: give me UNDERSTANDING, that I may learn thy commandments. <\/p>\n<p>Ps.119:34 Give me UNDERSTANDING, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart. <\/p>\n<p>Ps.119:99 I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation. <\/p>\n<p>Ps.119:104 Through thy PRECEPTS I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way. 130. The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth UNDERSTANDING to the simple. <\/p>\n<p>Prov. 1:1-6 My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee; So that thou incline (mark well, prick up your ears) thine ear unto wisdom,and apply (stretch,bend,cause to yield) your heart to UNDERSTANDING; yea if thou criest after knowledge, and lift up thy voice (cause it to be heard) for UNDERSTANDING; if thou seekest her (search after, strive after, beg, require)&#8230;then shalt thou UNDERSTAND the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God&#8230;(for) out of His mouth cometh knowledge and UNDERSTANDING. <\/p>\n<p>Prov.3:1-7 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments&#8230;write them on the tables of thine heart: so shalt thou find favor and good UNDERSTANDING in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not (incline not) to thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes&#8230; <\/p>\n<p>Prov. 16:16 How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! to get UNDERSTANDING rather to be chosen than silver! 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; (therefore) get wisdom and with all thy getting get UNDERSTANDING. <\/p>\n<p>Prov.15:32 He that refuseth instruction despiseth his own soul: but he that heareth reproof getting understanding. 10:13 In the lips of him that hath UNDERSTANDING wisdom is found: but a rod (is) for the back of him that is VOID OF UNDERSTANDING. <\/p>\n<p>Prov. 7 Be prepared to tell of a man VOID OF UNDERSTANDING. (The natural man understands not, the natural man is deceived, the natural man is blind. he is a SIMPLE ONE=open, silly, seducible) <\/p>\n<p>Prov. 6:32 Whoso committeth adultery&#8230;LACKETH UNDERSTANDING&#8230;DESTROYS OWN SOUL. <\/p>\n<p>24:30 I went by the field of the slothful, and the vineyard of the man VOID OF UNDERSTANDING. <\/p>\n<p>Prov. 8:36 But he that sinneth against me (godly wisdom) wrongs his our soul: all that hate me love death. (Natural man, rejecting godly wisdom is suicidal.
