{"id":611,"date":"2024-01-22T23:18:27","date_gmt":"2024-01-23T04:18:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.purposedriven.ca\/wiki\/eng\/proverbs-19"},"modified":"2024-01-22T23:18:30","modified_gmt":"2024-01-23T04:18:30","slug":"proverbs-19","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/purposedriven.ca\/wiki\/2024\/01\/22\/proverbs-19\/","title":{"rendered":"Proverb 19"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pro 19:1  The poor who walks in his integrity is better than he who is perverse in his lips, who is a fool.<br \/>\nPro 19:2  Also, without knowledge the soul is not good, and he who hurries with his feet sins.<br \/>\nPro 19:3  The foolishness of man overturns his way, and his heart rages against Jehovah.<br \/>\nPro 19:4  Wealth makes many friends, but the poor is separated from his neighbor.<br \/>\nPro 19:5  A false witness shall not be acquitted; yea, a breather of lies shall not escape.<br \/>\nPro 19:6  Many will beg the favor of a noble, and all are friends to him who gives gifts.<br \/>\nPro 19:7  All the poor man&#8217;s brothers hate him, and his friends also surely leave him; he pursues them with words, yet they are not.<br \/>\nPro 19:8  He who gets heart loves his own soul, he who keeps understanding finds good.<br \/>\nPro 19:9  A false witness shall not be acquitted; yea, he who speaks lies shall perish.<br \/>\nPro 19:10  Luxury is not becoming for a fool, much less for a servant to rule over princes.<br \/>\nPro 19:11  A man&#8217;s discretion makes his anger slow, and his glory is to pass over a transgression.<br \/>\nPro 19:12  The king&#8217;s wrath is like a lion&#8217;s roar, but his favor is like dew on the grass.<br \/>\nPro 19:13  A foolish son is a ruin to his father, and a wife&#8217;s quarreling a never ending dripping.<br \/>\nPro 19:14  House and riches are the inheritance of fathers, but a prudent wife is from Jehovah.<br \/>\nPro 19:15  Laziness makes one fall into a deep sleep, and an idle soul shall suffer hunger.<br \/>\nPro 19:16  He who keeps the Commandment keeps his own soul, he who despises His ways shall die.<br \/>\nPro 19:17  He who has pity on the poor lends to Jehovah, and He will repay his dealing to him.<br \/>\nPro 19:18  Chasten your son, for there is hope, and do not set your soul on making him die.<br \/>\nPro 19:19  A man great of fury will bear the penalty, for if you deliver him, then you must do it again.<br \/>\nPro 19:20  Hear advice and receive instruction, that you may be wise in your latter end.<br \/>\nPro 19:21  Many purposes are in a man&#8217;s heart, but the counsel of Jehovah shall stand.<br \/>\nPro 19:22  The desirableness of a man is his kindness, and a poor man is better than a liar.<br \/>\nPro 19:23  The fear of Jehovah tends to life, and he shall rest satisfied, he shall not be visited with evil.<br \/>\nPro 19:24  A lazy one puts his hand in a dish, and he will not return it to his mouth.<br \/>\nPro 19:25  Strike a scorner and the simple will be shrewd; reprove a discerner, and he will discern knowledge.<br \/>\nPro 19:26  He who assaults his father and chases his mother away, he is a son who causes shame and brings reproach.<br \/>\nPro 19:27  My son, cease to hear the chastening, and you will err from the words of knowledge.<br \/>\nPro 19:28  A worthless witness scorns justice, and the mouth of the wicked devours evil.<br \/>\nPro 19:29  Judgments are prepared for scorners, and blows for the backs of fools.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pro 19:1 The poor who walks in his integrity is better than he who is perverse in his lips, who is a fool.
