{"id":870,"date":"2024-06-09T12:18:18","date_gmt":"2024-06-09T16:18:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.purposedriven.ca\/wiki\/eng\/psalm-33"},"modified":"2024-06-09T12:18:21","modified_gmt":"2024-06-09T16:18:21","slug":"psalm-33","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/purposedriven.ca\/wiki\/2024\/06\/09\/psalm-33\/","title":{"rendered":"Psalm 33"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Psa 33:1  Rejoice in Jehovah, O righteous ones; praise is becoming to the upright.<br \/>\nPsa 33:2  Give thanks to Jehovah with the lyre; sing to Him with a harp of ten strings.<br \/>\nPsa 33:3  Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully, with shouts of joy.<br \/>\nPsa 33:4  For the Word of Jehovah is right, and all His works are in truth.<br \/>\nPsa 33:5  He loves righteousness and judgment; the mercy of Jehovah fills the earth.<br \/>\nPsa 33:6  Through the Word of Jehovah the heavens were made; and all their host were made by the breath of His mouth.<br \/>\nPsa 33:7  The waters of the sea were gathered like a heap, setting the depths in storehouses.<br \/>\nPsa 33:8  Let all the earth fear Jehovah; let all those living in the world stand in awe of Him.<br \/>\nPsa 33:9  For He spoke, and it came into being; He commanded, and it stood fast.<br \/>\nPsa 33:10  Jehovah voids the counsel of the nations, He frustrates the thoughts of the peoples.<br \/>\nPsa 33:11  Jehovah&#8217;s counsel stands forever, the thoughts of His heart to all generations.<br \/>\nPsa 33:12  Blessed is the nation whose God is Jehovah, the people He has elected for His inheritance.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.purposedriven.ca\/wiki\/ch-spurgeon\/psalms-3313\">Psa 33:13  Jehovah looks down from Heaven; He sees all the sons of mankind. <\/a><br \/>\nPsa 33:14  From His dwellingplace He looks on all the ones living in the earth.<br \/>\nPsa 33:15  He forms the heart; He understands all their works.<br \/>\nPsa 33:16  The king is not saved by great force; a mighty man is not saved by great strength.<br \/>\nPsa 33:17  A horse is a vain thing for safety; nor does he save by his great strength.<br \/>\nPsa 33:18  Behold the eye of Jehovah is to those who fear Him, on those who hope in His mercy;<br \/>\nPsa 33:19  to deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.<br \/>\nPsa 33:20  Our soul waits for Jehovah; He is our help and shield.<br \/>\nPsa 33:21  For our heart rejoices in Him because we trust in His holy name.<br \/>\nPsa 33:22  Let Your mercy be upon us, O Jehovah, even as we trust in You. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Psa 33:1 Rejoice in Jehovah, O righteous ones; praise is becoming to the upright.
