{"id":938,"date":"2024-07-17T00:22:48","date_gmt":"2024-07-17T04:22:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.purposedriven.ca\/wiki\/eng\/proverbs-28"},"modified":"2024-07-17T00:22:51","modified_gmt":"2024-07-17T04:22:51","slug":"proverbs-28","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/purposedriven.ca\/wiki\/2024\/07\/17\/proverbs-28\/","title":{"rendered":"Proverb 28"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pro 28:1  The wicked flee though no one is pursuing, but the righteous are as bold as a lion.<br \/>\nPro 28:2  Because of transgression in a land, many are its rulers, but it is prolonged by a man who has understanding, who knows right.<br \/>\nPro 28:3  A poor man that oppresses the weak is like a sweeping rain that leaves no food.<br \/>\nPro 28:4  Those who forsake the law praise the wicked, but those who keep the law strive with them.<br \/>\nPro 28:5  Evil men do not understand justice, but those seeking Jehovah understand all.<br \/>\nPro 28:6  Better is the poor walking in his integrity than the perverse of two ways, even if he is rich.<br \/>\nPro 28:7  He who keeps the law is a wise son, but he who is one feeding gluttons shames his father.<br \/>\nPro 28:8  He who multiplies his wealth by interest and usury, he shall gather it for him who pities the weak.<br \/>\nPro 28:9  Whoever turns aside his ear from hearing the Law, even his prayer is an abomination.<br \/>\nPro 28:10  He who causes the upright to go astray in an evil way shall fall into his own pit, and the blameless shall inherit good.<br \/>\nPro 28:11  A rich man is wise in his own eyes, but the discerning poor searches him out.<br \/>\nPro 28:12  When the righteous rejoice, great is the glory, but when the wicked rise, a man will be sought for.<br \/>\nPro 28:13  He who covers his sins never prospers, but he who confesses and forsakes them shall have pity.<br \/>\nPro 28:14  Blessed is a man who is in awe constantly! But he who hardens his heart falls into evil.<br \/>\nPro 28:15  The wicked ruler is a roaring lion and a ranging bear over a poor people.<br \/>\nPro 28:16  The ruler that lacks understanding even adds oppressions, but he who hates unjust gain prolongs his days.<br \/>\nPro 28:17  Any man oppressed with the blood of a soul shall flee to the pit; let them not uphold him.<br \/>\nPro 28:18  He who walks uprightly shall be saved, but he who is perverse in his ways shall fall at once.<br \/>\nPro 28:19  He who cultivates his ground shall have plenty of bread, but one pursuing vanities shall have much poverty.<br \/>\nPro 28:20  A faithful man shall be full of blessings, but he rushing to be rich shall not be innocent.<br \/>\nPro 28:21  To respect faces is not good, yea, for a man will transgress for a piece of bread.<br \/>\nPro 28:22  A man with an evil eye hastens after wealth, but he does not know that poverty will come on him.<br \/>\nPro 28:23  He who reproves a man afterwards finds grace, more than he who flatters with the tongue.<br \/>\nPro 28:24  He who robs his father or his mother, and says, It is not a transgression, he shall be a partner to a man who corrupts.<br \/>\nPro 28:25  The proud in soul stirs up strife, but he who is trusting on Jehovah shall be abundantly satisfied.<br \/>\nPro 28:26  He who trusts in his own heart is a fool, but he who walks in wisdom shall be delivered.<br \/>\nPro 28:27  He who gives to the poor shall not lack, but he who hides his eyes shall have plenty of curses.<br \/>\nPro 28:28  When the wicked rise, a man hides himself; but when they perish, the righteous multiply. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pro 28:1 The wicked flee though no one is pursuing, but the righteous are as bold as a lion.
