{"id":939,"date":"2024-07-17T12:18:20","date_gmt":"2024-07-17T16:18:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.purposedriven.ca\/wiki\/eng\/proverbs-29"},"modified":"2024-07-17T12:18:23","modified_gmt":"2024-07-17T16:18:23","slug":"proverbs-29","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/purposedriven.ca\/wiki\/2024\/07\/17\/proverbs-29\/","title":{"rendered":"Proverb 29"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pro 29:1  A man who hardens his neck when reproved shall be suddenly broken, and there will be no healing.<br \/>\nPro 29:2  When the righteous increase, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people sigh.<br \/>\nPro 29:3  He who loves wisdom gladdens his father, but a feeder of harlots wastes wealth.<br \/>\nPro 29:4  A king establishes a land by justice, but a man taking bribes tears it down.<br \/>\nPro 29:5  A man who flatters his neighbor spreads a net for his steps.<br \/>\nPro 29:6  A snare is in the transgression of an evil man, but the righteous sing and rejoice.<br \/>\nPro 29:7  The righteous attends to the cause of the poor; the wicked does not discern knowledge.<br \/>\nPro 29:8  Scornful men blast a city, but the wise turn away anger.<br \/>\nPro 29:9  If a wise man disputes with a foolish man, either he shakes, or laughs, and there is no rest.<br \/>\nPro 29:10  Men of blood hate the blameless, but the upright seek his soul.<br \/>\nPro 29:11  A fool brings out all of his spirit, but holding back, the wise quiets it.<br \/>\nPro 29:12  To a ruler who listens to lying words, all his ministers are wicked.<br \/>\nPro 29:13  The poor and the injurious man meet together. Jehovah enlightens the eyes of both.<br \/>\nPro 29:14  A king that truly judges the weak shall have his throne established forever.<br \/>\nPro 29:15  The rod and reproof give wisdom, but a boy let loose causes shame to his mother.<br \/>\nPro 29:16  When the wicked are multiplied, transgression increases; but the righteous shall see their fall.<br \/>\nPro 29:17  Discipline your son, and you will get rest, and it will give delight to your soul.<br \/>\nPro 29:18  Where there is no vision, the people are unrestrained. But blessed is he, the one keeping the law.<br \/>\nPro 29:19  A servant is not corrected by words; though he discerns, there is no answer.<br \/>\nPro 29:20  Do you see a man hasty in his words? There is more hope for a fool than of him.<br \/>\nPro 29:21  He pampering his servant from youth, even afterwards in his days he shall be his successor.<br \/>\nPro 29:22  An angry man stirs up contention, and a furious one abounds in transgression.<br \/>\nPro 29:23  The pride of man brings him low, but the humble of spirit takes hold of honor.<br \/>\nPro 29:24  He who shares with a thief hates his soul; he hears a curse, but does not tell it.<br \/>\nPro 29:25  The fear of man brings a snare, but he trusting Jehovah is set on high.<br \/>\nPro 29:26  Many seek the face of the ruler, but the judgment of each man is from Jehovah.<br \/>\nPro 29:27  An unjust man is an abomination to the righteous, and the upright of way are an abomination to the wicked. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pro 29:1 A man who hardens his neck when reproved shall be suddenly broken, and there will be no healing.
