Jos 16:4 And Manasseh and Ephraim, the sons of Joseph, inherited.
Jos 16:5 And the border of the sons of Ephraim was by their families; the border of their inheritance on the east was Ataroth-addar to Beth-horon the upper.

Jos 16:8 From Tappuah, the border went westward to the river Kanah, and its boundary line was at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Ephraim, for their families.
Jos 16:9 And the separate cities of the sons of Ephraim were in the midst of the inheritance of the sons of Manasseh, all the cities and their villages.
Jos 16:10 And they did not expel the Canaanite who lived in Gezer. And the Canaanite lives in the midst of Ephraim to this day, and is serving under tribute.

Joshua 15

Jos 15:1 And the lot for the tribe of the sons of Judah for their families was to the border of Edom, the wilderness of Zin southward, in the extreme south.
Jos 15:2 And their south border was from the end of the Salt Sea, from the bay that looked southward.
Jos 15:3 And it went out southward to the ascent of Akrabbim, and passed on to Zin, and went up on the south of Kadesh-barnea, and passed to Hezron, and went up toward Adar, and turned toward Karkaa,
Jos 15:4 and passed on to Azmon, and went out by the torrent of Egypt; and the boundary line was at the sea. This shall be your south border.
Jos 15:5 And the east border was the Salt Sea to the end of the Jordan; and the border on the north side was from the bay of the sea at the end of the Jordan.
Jos 15:6 And the border went up to Beth-hoglah, and passed on the north of Beth-arabah; and the border went up to the stone of Bohan, the son of Reuben;
Jos 15:7 And the border went up toward Debir from the valley of Achor, and northward looking toward Gilgal, which is opposite to the ascent of Adummim, which is the south side of the torrent; and the border passed to the waters of En-shemesh, and its boundary line was at En-rogel.
Jos 15:8 And the border went up to the valley of the son of Hinnom, to the side of the Jebusite on the south (it is Jerusalem) and the border went up to the top of the mountain which is before the valley of Hinnom westward at the far end of the Valley of the Giants northward.

Jos 15:10 And the border turned around from Baalah westward to Mount Seir, and passed toward the side of Mount Jearim on the north (it is Chesalon) and went down to Beth-shemesh, and passed along by Timnah;
Jos 15:11 and the border went out to the side of Ekron northward; and the border was drawn to Shikkeron, and passed along to Mount Baalah, and went out to Jabneel. And the boundary line was at the Sea.
Jos 15:12 And the west border was to the Great Sea, and its coast. This is the border of the sons of Judah all around, for their families.
Jos 15:13 And he gave a portion to Caleb the son of Jephunneh among the sons of Judah, according to the command of Jehovah to Joshua: the City of Arba, the father of Anak; it is Hebron.
Jos 15:14 And Caleb dispossessed from there the three sons of Anak, Sheshai, Ahiman, and Talmai, the sons of Anak.
Jos 15:15 And he went up there to the ones living in Debir; and the name of Debir formerly was the City of Sepher.
Jos 15:16 And Caleb said, He who strikes the City of Sepher, and captures it, I shall give my daughter Achsah to him for a wife.
Jos 15:17 And Othniel, the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, captured it. And He gave his daughter Achsah to him for a wife.
Jos 15:18 And it happened, as she came, that she persuaded him to ask from her father a field. And she dismounted from the ass, and Caleb said to her, What do you desire?
Jos 15:19 And she said, Give a blessing to me. You have given me the land of the south, then you shall give to me springs of water. And he gave to her the upper springs and the lower springs.
Jos 15:20 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Judah, for their families:
Jos 15:21 And the cities at the furthest border of the tribe of the sons of Judah were to the border of Edom in the south: Kabzeel, and Eder, and Jagur,

Jos 15:63 As for the Jebusites, the ones living in Jerusalem, the sons of Judah could not drive them out. But the Jebusites dwell with the sons of Judah at Jerusalem to this day.

Joshua 14

Jos 14:1 And these are they of the sons of Israel who inherited in the land of Canaan, whom Eleazar the priest and Joshua the son of Nun and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the sons of Israel caused to inherit.
Jos 14:2 Their inheritance was by lot, as Jehovah commanded by the hand of Moses, for the nine tribes, and the half tribe;
Jos 14:3 for Moses had given the inheritance of two of the tribes and the half tribe, beyond the Jordan; and he did not give any inheritance to the Levites among them.
Jos 14:4 For the sons of Joseph were two tribes, Manasseh and Ephraim. And they did not give a portion to the Levites in the land, except cities to live in, with the open land around them for their livestock and for their substance,
Jos 14:5 as Jehovah commanded Moses, so the sons of Israel did, and they allotted the land.
Jos 14:6 And the sons of Judah came near to Joshua in Gilgal, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite said to him, You know the word that Jehovah spoke to Moses the man of God as to me and as to you in Kadesh-barnea.
Jos 14:7 I was a son of forty years when Moses the servant of Jehovah sent me from Kadesh-barnea to spy out the land. And I brought him back word as it was in my heart.
Jos 14:8 But my brothers who went up with me caused the heart of the people to melt, yet I fully followed after Jehovah my God.
Jos 14:9 And Moses swore in that day, saying, Surely the land on which your foot has trodden shall be an inheritance for you and for your sons forever, because you have fully followed after Jehovah my God.
Jos 14:10 And now, behold, Jehovah has kept me alive, as He said, these forty five years since Jehovah spoke this word to Moses, when Israel went in the wilderness. And now, behold, today I am a son of eighty five years;
Jos 14:11 yet I am as strong today as in the day Moses sent me. As my strength was then, so is my strength now for war, both to go out and to come in.
Jos 14:12 And now, give to me this mountain, of which Jehovah spoke in that day, for you heard in that day how the sons of Anak were there, and great walled cities. If Jehovah shall be with me, then I shall dispossess them, as Jehovah has spoken.
Jos 14:13 And Joshua blessed him, and he gave Hebron to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for an inheritance.
Jos 14:14 Therefore, Hebron has belonged to Caleb the son of Jephunneh, the Kenizzite, for an inheritance to this day, because he fully followed after Jehovah the God of Israel.
Jos 14:15 And the name of Hebron before was City of Arba; that one was a great man among the Anakim. And the land had rest from war.

Joshua 13

Jos 13:1 And Joshua was old, going on in days. And Jehovah said to him, You have become aged, you are far along in days; yet very much land remains to be possessed.
Jos 13:2 This is the land that still remains: all the regions of the Philistines, and all Geshuri,
Jos 13:3 from Shihor which fronts on Egypt, and to the border of Ekron northward (it is counted to the Canaanites) five lords of the Philistines, of Gaza, of Ashdod, of Ashkelon, of Gath, and of Ekron; also the Avim.
Jos 13:4 From the south, all the land of the Canaanites, and Mearah which belongs to the Sidonians; to Aphek, to the border of the Amorites;
Jos 13:5 and the land of the Giblites, and all Lebanon, toward the sunrising, from Baal-gad below Mount Hermon to the entering to Hamath;
Jos 13:6 all the ones living in the hills, from Lebanon to the burning waters; all the Sidonians; I will dispossess them before the sons of Israel: Only, cause it to fall to Israel for an inheritance, as I have commanded you.
Jos 13:7 Now, then, divide this land for an inheritance to the nine tribes, and the half tribe of Manasseh.
Jos 13:8 With him the Reubenites, and the Gadites received their inheritance, which Moses gave to them beyond the Jordan eastward, as Moses the servant of Jehovah has given to them;
Jos 13:9 from Aroer on the lip of the river Arnon, and the city which is in the middle of the valley, and all the plain of Medeba, to Dibon;
Jos 13:10 and all the cities of Sihon the king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, to the border of the sons of Ammon;
Jos 13:11 and Gilead, and the border of the Geshurites, and of the Maachathite, and all Mount Hermon, and all Bashan to Salcah;
Jos 13:12 all the kingdom of Og in Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei; he remained of the remnant of the giants. And Moses struck them and dispossessed them.
Jos 13:13 But the sons of Israel did not dispossess the Geshurites and the Maachathite, but Geshur and Maachath live in the midst of Israel until today.
Jos 13:14 Only, he has not given an inheritance to the tribe of Levi. The fire offerings of Jehovah the God of Israel are its inheritance, as He has spoken to it.
Jos 13:15 And Moses gave to the tribe of the sons of Reuben, for their families;
Jos 13:16 and their border was from Aroer on the lip of the river Arnon, and the city which is in the middle of the valley, and all the plain by Medeba;
Jos 13:17 Heshbon, and all its cities in the tableland; Dibon, and Bamoth-baal, and Beth-baal-meon;
Jos 13:18 and Jahazah, and Kedemoth, and Mephaath;
Jos 13:19 and Kirjath-aim, and Sibmah, and Zareth-shahar in the mountain of the valley;
Jos 13:20 and Beth-peor, and the Slopes of Pisgah, and Beth-jeshimoth;
Jos 13:21 and all the cities of the tableland, and all the kingdom of Sihon the king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses struck with the rulers of Midian, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, chiefs of Sihon, those living in the land.
Jos 13:22 And the sons of Israel killed Balaam the son of Beor, the one divining, with the sword, among their slain.
Jos 13:23 And the border of the sons of Reuben was from the Jordan, and its border. This was the inheritance of the sons of Reuben for their families, the cities and their villages.
Jos 13:24 And Moses gave to the tribe of Gad, to the sons of Gad, for their families:
Jos 13:25 And their border was to Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and half of the land of the sons of Ammon, to Aroer, which is before Rabbah;
Jos 13:26 and from Heshbon to Ramath-mizpeh, and Betonim, and from Mahanaim to the border of Debir;
Jos 13:27 and in the valley, Beth-aram, and Beth-nimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon the king of Heshbon; the Jordan and its border, to the edge of the Sea of Chinnereth, beyond the Jordan, eastward.
Jos 13:28 This is the inheritance of the sons of Gad, for their families, the cities and their villages.
Jos 13:29 And Moses gave inheritance to the half tribe of Manasseh. And it was to the half of the tribe of the sons of Manasseh, for their families:
Jos 13:30 and their border was from Mahanaim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og the king of Bashan, and all the small towns of Jair in Bashan, sixty cities;
Jos 13:31 and the half of Gilead, and Ashtaroth, and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, belonged to the sons of Machir, the son of Manasseh, to the half of the sons of Machir for their families.
Jos 13:32 These are they whom Moses caused to inherit in the plains of Moab, beyond the Jordan, opposite Jericho, eastward.
Jos 13:33 But Moses did not give an inheritance to the tribe of Levi. Jehovah the God of Israel Himself is their inheritance, as He has spoken to them.

Joshua 12

Jos 12:1 And these are the kings of the land whom the sons of Israel struck, and they seized their land beyond the Jordan, at the sunrising, from the river Arnon to Mount Hermon, and all the Arabah eastward:
Jos 12:2 Sihon the king of the Amorites who lived in Heshbon, and ruled from Aroer, which is on the bank of the river Arnon, and from its valley floor, and half Gilead, even to the river Jabbok, the border of the sons of Ammon;
Jos 12:3 and from the Arabah to the sea of Chinneroth on the east, and to the sea of the Arabah, even the Salt Sea, eastward, the way to Beth-jeshimoth; and on the south under the Slopes of Pisgah;
Jos 12:4 and the border of Og the king of Bashan, of the rest of the giants, who lived at Ashtaroth and at Edrei,
Jos 12:5 and reigned in Mount Hermon and in Salecah, and in all Bashan, to the border of the Geshurites and the Maachathites, and half Gilead, the border of Sihon the king of Heshbon.
Jos 12:6 Moses the servant of Jehovah and the sons of Israel struck them. And Moses the servant of Jehovah gave it for a possession to the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh.
Jos 12:7 And these are the kings of the land whom Joshua and the sons of Israel struck beyond the Jordan westward, from Baal-gad in the Valley of Lebanon even to Mount Halak that goes up to Seir, which Joshua gave to the tribes of Israel for a possession according to their divisions;
Jos 12:8 in the mountains, and in the Lowlands, and in the Arabah, and in the slopes, and in the wilderness, and in the Negeb; the Hittites, the Amorites, and the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites:
Jos 12:9 the king of Jericho, one; the king of Ai, which is beside Bethel, one;
Jos 12:10 the king of Jerusalem, one; the king of Hebron, one;
Jos 12:11 the king of Jarmuth, one; the king of Lachish, one;

Jos 12:24 the king of Tirzah, one. All the kings were thirty one.

Deuteronomy 16

Deu 16:1 Observe the month Abib, and perform the Passover to Jehovah your God. For in the month of Abib Jehovah your God brought you out of Egypt by night.
Deu 16:2 And you shall sacrifice a Passover to Jehovah your God of the flock, and of the herd, in the place which He shall choose to cause His name to dwell there.
Deu 16:3 You shall eat with it no leaven. You shall eat unleavened bread with it seven days, even the bread of affliction. For you came out of the land of Egypt in haste, so that you may remember the day that you came out of the land of Egypt all the days of your life.
Deu 16:4 And there shall be no leaven seen with you in your borders seven days; nor shall any of the flesh which you sacrificed the first day at evening remain all night until the morning.
Deu 16:5 You may not sacrifice the Passover offering inside any of your gates, which Jehovah your God gives you.
Deu 16:6 But at the place which He shall choose to cause His name to dwell there, you shall sacrifice the Passover offering at evening, at the going of the sun, at the time when you came out of Egypt.
Deu 16:7 And you shall cook and eat in the place which Jehovah your God shall choose. And in the morning you shall turn and go into your tents.
Deu 16:8 You shall eat unleavened bread six days, and on the seventh day shall be a solemn assembly to Jehovah your God. You shall do no work.
Deu 16:9 You shall number to yourself seven weeks. When the sickle begins to reap in the standing grain, you shall begin to number seven weeks.
Deu 16:10 And you shall keep the Feast of Weeks to Jehovah your God according to the measure of the freewill offering of your hand, which you shall give according as Jehovah your God blesses you.
Deu 16:11 And you shall rejoice before Jehovah your God, you and your son, and your daughter, and your male slave, and your slave-girl, and the Levite that is inside your gates, and the alien, and the fatherless, and the widow that are among you, in the place which Jehovah your God shall choose to cause His name to dwell there.
Deu 16:12 And you shall remember that you were a slave in Egypt; and you shall take heed to do these statutes.
Deu 16:13 You shall keep the Feast of Tabernacles seven days after you have gathered in from your threshingfloor, and from your winepress.
Deu 16:14 And you shall rejoice in your feast, you and your son, and your daughter, and your male slave, and your slave-girl, and the Levite, and the alien, and the fatherless, and the widow that are inside your gates.
Deu 16:15 You shall keep a solemn feast seven days to Jehovah your God in the place which Jehovah shall choose; for Jehovah your God shall bless you in all your produce, and in every work of your hands, and you shall be altogether joyful.
Deu 16:16 Three times in a year shall all your males appear before Jehovah your God in the place which He shall choose: In the Feast of Unleavened Bread, and in the Feast of Weeks and in the Feast of Tabernacles. And they shall not appear before Jehovah empty,
Deu 16:17 but each with his gift of his hand, according to the blessing of Jehovah your God, which He has given you.
Deu 16:18 You shall appoint judges and officers for yourself in all your gates which Jehovah your God gives you, tribe by tribe. And they shall judge the people with righteous judgment.
Deu 16:19 You shall not pervert judgment. You shall not regard faces, nor shall you take a bribe; for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise, and perverts the words of the righteous.
Deu 16:20 You shall follow perfect justice, that you may live and possess the land which Jehovah your God is giving you.
Deu 16:21 You shall not set up for yourself pillars of any trees, which you make for yourself near the altar of Jehovah your God.
Deu 16:22 And you shall not raise up for yourself any standing image, which Jehovah your God detests.

Deuteronomy 15

Deu 15:1 At the end of every seven years you shall make a release.
Deu 15:2 And this is the manner of the release: Everyone who has a loan to his neighbor shall release it; he shall not exact it of his neighbor and his brother, because a release has been proclaimed for Jehovah.
Deu 15:3 You may exact it from a foreigner, but your hand shall release whatever is yours with your brother,
Deu 15:4 only that there shall be no one in need among you. For Jehovah will greatly bless you in the land that Jehovah your God is giving you for an inheritance, to possess it,
Deu 15:5 only if hearing you listen to the voice of Jehovah your God, to take heed to do all this command which I am commanding you today.
Deu 15:6 For Jehovah your God will bless you as He promised you. And you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. And you shall rule over many nations, but they shall not rule over you.
Deu 15:7 If there is a poor man among you, one of your brothers inside any of your gates in your land which Jehovah your God is giving to you, you shall not harden your heart, nor shut your hand from your needy brother.
Deu 15:8 But opening you shall open your hand to him, and lending you shall lend him enough for his need in that which he lacks.
Deu 15:9 Beware that there is no evil thought in your heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release draws near; and your eye be evil against your needy brother, and you give him nothing, and he cry to Jehovah against you and it be sin to you.
Deu 15:10 Giving you shall give to him, and your heart shall not be grieved when you give to him, because Jehovah your God will bless you for this thing, in all your work, and in all that you put your hand to.
Deu 15:11 For the poor will never cease from the midst of the land. On account of this I command you, saying, Opening you shall open your hand to your poor and needy brother in your land.
Deu 15:12 If your brother, a Hebrew man, or a Hebrew woman, is sold to you and serves you six years, then in the seventh year you shall let him go free from you.
Deu 15:13 And when you send him out free from you, you shall not let him go away empty.
Deu 15:14 You shall richly adorn him from your flock, and from your threshing floor, and from your winepress, with that which Jehovah your God has blessed you, you shall give to him.
Deu 15:15 And you shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and Jehovah your God redeemed you. On account of this I command you this thing today.
Deu 15:16 And it shall be, if he says to you, I will not go out from you, because he loves you and your house, because it was good for him with you;
Deu 15:17 then you shall take an awl, and shall put it through his ear, and through the door, and he shall be your slave forever. And you shall do so to your slave-girl also.
Deu 15:18 It shall not seem hard in your eyes when you send him away free from you. For to the double of the hire of a hireling he has served you six years. And Jehovah your God will bless you in all that you do.
Deu 15:19 The firstling males that are born of your herd and of your flock, you shall sanctify to Jehovah your God. You shall do no work with the firstling of your ox, nor shear the firstling of your flock.
Deu 15:20 You shall eat it before Jehovah your God year by year in the place which Jehovah shall choose, you and your household.
Deu 15:21 And if there is any blemish in it, lameness, or blindness, or any evil blemish whatever, you shall not sacrifice it to Jehovah your God.
Deu 15:22 You shall eat it inside your gates; the unclean and the clean alike, as the gazelle and as the hart.
Deu 15:23 Only, you shall not eat its blood; you shall pour it on the ground like water.

Deuteronomy 14

Deu 14:1 You are sons to Jehovah your God; you shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead.
Deu 14:2 For you are a holy people to Jehovah your God; and Jehovah has chosen you to be a people to Him, a special treasure out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.
Deu 14:3 You shall not eat any abominable thing.
Deu 14:4 These are the animals which you shall eat: the ox, the flocked sheep, and the flocked goat,
Deu 14:5 the hart and gazelle, and roe deer, and wild goat, and antelope, and oryx, and moufflon.
Deu 14:6 And you may eat every animal that divides the hoof, and divides two hoofs wholly, and chews the cud among the animals.
Deu 14:7 But you shall not eat of those that only chew the cud, or those only dividing the cloven hoof: the camel, and the hare, and the rock badger; for they chew the cud but do not divide the hoof. They shall be unclean to you.
Deu 14:8 And the swine, because it divides the hoof, but does not chew the cud; it is unclean to you. You shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead body.
Deu 14:9 These you shall eat of all in the waters: you shall eat all that have fins and scales.
Deu 14:10 And whatever does not have fins and scales, you shall not eat. It shall be unclean to you.
Deu 14:11 You shall eat of all clean birds.
Deu 14:12 But you shall not eat of these: the eagle, the black vulture, and the bearded vulture,
Deu 14:13 and the hawk, and falcons, and the kite by its kinds,
Deu 14:14 and all ravens by their kinds;
Deu 14:15 and the ostrich, and the great owl, and the sea gull, and small hawks by their kinds,
Deu 14:16 the little owl, and the eared owl, and the barn owl,
Deu 14:17 and the pelican, and the owl, and the cormorant,
Deu 14:18 and the stork, and the heron after its kind, and the hoopoe, and the bat.
Deu 14:19 And every teeming thing that flies shall be unclean to you; they shall not be eaten.
Deu 14:20 You may eat of all clean birds.
Deu 14:21 You shall not eat of anything that died of itself. You may give it to the alien who is within your gates, that he may eat it. Or you may sell it to a foreigner. For you are a holy people to Jehovah your God. You shall not boil a kid in its mother’s milk.
Deu 14:22 Tithing you shall tithe all the increase of your seed that the field yields year by year.
Deu 14:23 And you shall eat before Jehovah your God in the place which He shall choose to cause His name to dwell there, the tithe of your grain, of your wine, and of your oil, and the firstlings of your herd and of your flock; that you may learn to fear Jehovah your God all your days.
Deu 14:24 And if the way is too long for you, so that you cannot carry it, because the place is too far from you which Jehovah your God shall choose to set His name there, when Jehovah your God shall bless you;
Deu 14:25 Then you shall give it for silver, and bind up the silver in your hand. And you shall go to the place which Jehovah your God shall choose.
Deu 14:26 And you shall pay the silver for whatever your soul desires, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for fermented drink, or for whatever your soul desires. And you shall eat there before Jehovah your God, and you shall rejoice, you and your household.
Deu 14:27 And you shall not forsake the Levite who is within your gates, for he has no portion nor inheritance with you.
Deu 14:28 At the end of three years, even the same year, you shall bring forth all the tithe of your increase, and shall lay it up within your gates.
Deu 14:29 And the Levite, because he has no portion nor inheritance with you, and the alien, and the fatherless, and the widow who are within your gates shall come and shall eat and be satisfied; so that Jehovah your God may bless you in all the work of your hand which you do.

Deuteronomy 13

Deu 13:1 If a prophet or a dreamer of dreams rises among you, and gives you a sign or a wonder,
Deu 13:2 and the sign or the wonder which he spoke to you occurs, saying, Let us go after other gods which you have not known, and let us serve them,
Deu 13:3 you shall not listen to the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams. For Jehovah your God is testing you, to know if you love Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
Deu 13:4 You shall walk after Jehovah your God, and you shall fear Him. And you shall keep His commandments, and you shall hear His voice, and you shall serve Him, and you shall cleave to Him.
Deu 13:5 And that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall die, because he has spoken apostasy against Jehovah your God, who is bringing you out of the land of Egypt, and has redeemed you out of the house of slaves, to thrust you out of the way in which Jehovah your God has commanded you to walk. And you shall put away evil from among you.
Deu 13:6 If your brother, your mother’s son, or your son, or your daughter, or the wife of your bosom, or your friend who is as your own soul, shall entice you secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which you have not known, you and your fathers,
Deu 13:7 of the gods of the people around you, those near you or far off from you, from one end of the earth even to the other end of the earth,
Deu 13:8 you shall not consent to him, nor listen to him, nor shall your eye have pity on him, nor shall you spare nor hide him.
Deu 13:9 But killing you shall kill him; your hand shall be first upon him to cause him to die, and the hand of all the people last.
Deu 13:10 And you shall stone him with stones, and he shall die, for he has sought to thrust you out from Jehovah your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slaves.
Deu 13:11 And all Israel shall hear and fear, and shall not again do any such wicked thing as this among you.
Deu 13:12 If, in one of your cities which Jehovah your God is giving you to live in, you hear one saying,
Deu 13:13 Certain men, sons of Belial, have gone out from among you and have drawn away those who live in their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which you have not known;
Deu 13:14 then you shall inquire and make search, and ask carefully; and, behold, if the thing is truly established, that this abominable thing has been done among you,
Deu 13:15 striking you shall strike those who live in that city by the mouth of the sword, destroying it completely, and all that is in it, and its livestock, with the mouth of the sword.
Deu 13:16 And you shall gather all its spoil into the middle of its open place, and shall burn the city with fire, and all its spoil, completely, before Jehovah your God. And it shall be a heap forever; it shall not be built any more.
Deu 13:17 And not any of the cursed thing shall cleave to your hand, so that Jehovah shall turn from the fierceness of His anger, and shall give mercies to you, and shall love you, and shall multiply you, as He has sworn to your fathers,
Deu 13:18 when you listen to the voice of Jehovah your God, to keep all His commandments which I am commanding you today, to do that which is right in the eyes of Jehovah your God.

Deuteronomy 12

Deu 12:1 These are the statutes and the ordinances which you shall take heed to do in the land which Jehovah the God of your fathers has given to you, to possess it, all the days that you live on the earth:
Deu 12:2 Destroying you shall destroy all the places where the nations which you are dispossessing served their gods, on the high mountains, and on the hills, and under every leafy tree.
Deu 12:3 And you shall break down their altars, and shatter their standing pillars. And you shall burn their Asherahs with fire. And you shall cut down the carved images of their gods, and shall destroy their names out of that place.
Deu 12:4 You shall not do so to Jehovah your God.
Deu 12:5 But you shall seek to the place which Jehovah your God shall choose out of all your tribes; for you shall seek His dwelling, to put His name there. And you shall go there.
Deu 12:6 And you shall bring your burnt offerings there, and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and the heave offering of your hand, and your vows, and your freewill offering, and the firstlings of your herd and of your flock.
Deu 12:7 And you shall eat there before Jehovah your God, and shall rejoice in all that you put your hand to, you and your households, with which Jehovah your God has blessed you.
Deu 12:8 You shall not do according to all that we are doing here today, each doing all that is right in his own eyes.
Deu 12:9 For you have not come to the rest and to the inheritance which Jehovah your God is giving to you.
Deu 12:10 And you shall cross over the Jordan, and shall live in the land which Jehovah your God is causing you to inherit. And He shall give you rest from all your enemies all around; and you shall live securely.
Deu 12:11 And it shall be the place which Jehovah your God shall choose to cause His name to dwell there, there you shall bring all that I am commanding you, your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the heave offering of your hand, and all your choice freewill offerings which you vow to Jehovah.
Deu 12:12 And you shall rejoice before Jehovah your God, you and your sons, and your daughters, and your male slaves, and your female slaves, and the Levite within your gates because he has no portion or inheritance with you.
Deu 12:13 Take heed to yourself that you not offer your burnt offerings in every place that you see;
Deu 12:14 but in the place which Jehovah shall choose in one of your tribes, there you shall offer your burnt offerings, and there you shall do all that I command.
Deu 12:15 Only with all the desire of your soul you shall sacrifice and shall eat flesh within all your gates according to the blessing of Jehovah your God which He has given you; the unclean and the clean one may eat of it, as of the gazelle and as of the hart.
Deu 12:16 Only, you shall not eat the blood; you shall pour it as water on the earth.
Deu 12:17 You are not able to eat the tithe of your grain within your gates, and of your new wine, and your oil, and the firstlings of your herd and of your flock, and any of your vows which you vow, and your freewill offering, and the heave offering of your hand.
Deu 12:18 But you shall eat it before Jehovah your God in the place which Jehovah your God shall choose, you and your son, and your daughter, and your male slave, and your female slave, and the Levite who is within your gates. And you shall rejoice before Jehovah your God in all that you put your hand to.
Deu 12:19 Take heed to yourself that you do not forsake the Levite as long as you live on the land.
Deu 12:20 Then Jehovah your God shall enlarge your border, as He has promised you, and you shall say, I will eat flesh, because your soul desires to eat flesh, you may eat flesh according to all the desire of your soul.
Deu 12:21 If the place which Jehovah your God shall choose to put His name there is too far from you, then you shall kill of your herd and of your flock which Jehovah has given you, as I have commanded you; and you shall eat within your gates according to all the desire of your soul.
Deu 12:22 Only, as the gazelle and the hart are eaten, so you shall eat of it; the unclean and the clean may eat of it alike.
Deu 12:23 Only, be sure not to eat the blood, for the blood is the life, and you shall not eat the life with the flesh;
Deu 12:24 You shall not eat it; you shall pour it on the earth as water.
Deu 12:25 You shall not eat it in order that it may be well with you and with your sons after you, when you do that which is right in the eyes of Jehovah.
Deu 12:26 Only, your holy things which you have, and your vows, you shall take up and shall go to the place which Jehovah shall choose.
Deu 12:27 And you shall offer your burnt offerings, the flesh and the blood, on the altar of Jehovah your God; and the blood of your sacrifices shall be poured out by the altar of Jehovah your God; and you shall eat the flesh.
Deu 12:28 Take heed to listen to all these Words which I am commanding you, in order that it may be well with you and with your sons after you forever, when you do that which is good and right in the eyes of Jehovah your God.
Deu 12:29 When Jehovah your God shall cut off the nations from before you, where you are going in to possess them, and you shall possess them, and shall live in their land,
Deu 12:30 take heed to yourself that you not be snared to follow them after they have been destroyed before you; and that you not inquire after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? And I shall do so, even I.
Deu 12:31 You shall not do so to Jehovah your God; for everything hateful to Jehovah, which He detests, they have done to their gods. For they have even burned their sons and their daughters in the fire to their gods.
Deu 12:32 All the things that I command you, take heed to do them and you shall not add to it, nor take away from it.

Deuteronomy 11

Deu 11:1 And you shall love Jehovah your God, and keep His charge, and His statutes and His judgments, and His commandments all the days.
Deu 11:2 And you know today, for I do not speak with your sons who have not known, and who have not seen the chastisement of Jehovah your God, His greatness, His mighty hand, and His stretched out arm,
Deu 11:3 and His signs, and His works which He did in the midst of Egypt to Pharaoh the king of Egypt, and to all his land;
Deu 11:4 and that which He has done to the army of Egypt, to its horses, and to its chariots, when He caused the waters of the Sea of Reeds to flow over them as they pursued them. And Jehovah destroyed them to this day;
Deu 11:5 and that which He has done to you in the wilderness, until you came to this place;
Deu 11:6 and that which He has done to Dathan, and to Abiram, sons of Eliab, Reuben’s son, when the earth opened her mouth and swallowed them and their houses and their tents and all the living substance at their feet, in the midst of all Israel.
Deu 11:7 But your eyes see all the great work of Jehovah which He has done.
Deu 11:8 And you shall keep all the commandments which I am commanding you today, so that you shall be strong, and shall go in and possess the land to which you are crossing over, to possess it;
Deu 11:9 and so that you may prolong your days in the land which Jehovah has sworn to your fathers, to give to them and to their seed, a land flowing with milk and honey.
Deu 11:10 For the land to which you are going, to possess it, is not as the land of Egypt, from where you came, where you sowed your seed and watered it with your foot, as a garden of herbs.
Deu 11:11 But the land which you are entering to possess it is a land of hills and valleys, drinking water from the rain of the heavens;
Deu 11:12 a land which Jehovah your God cares for; the eyes of Jehovah your God are always on it from the beginning of the year to the end of the year.
Deu 11:13 And it shall be, if listening you will listen to My commands which I command you today, to love Jehovah your God, and to serve Him with all your heart, and with all your soul,
Deu 11:14 that I will give the rain of your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, and your wine, and your oil.
Deu 11:15 And I will give grass in your fields for your livestock; and you shall eat and be satisfied.
Deu 11:16 Take heed to yourselves, that your heart not be deceived, and you turn aside and serve other gods, and bow down to them;
Deu 11:17 and the anger of Jehovah glow against you, and He shut up the heavens, and there be no rain, and the ground not give her increase, and you perish quickly from off the good land which Jehovah is giving to you.
Deu 11:18 And you shall lay these Words up in your hearts, and in your souls, and shall bind them for a sign on your hand. And they shall be for frontlets between your eyes.
Deu 11:19 And you shall teach them to your sons by speaking of them as you sit in your house, and as you walk in the way, and as you lie down, and as you rise up.
Deu 11:20 And you shall write them on the side posts of your house, and on your gates,
Deu 11:21 that your days and the days of your sons may be multiplied in the land which Jehovah has sworn to your fathers, to give to them, as the days of the heavens over the earth.
Deu 11:22 For if keeping you will keep this command which I am commanding you, to do it, to love Jehovah your God, to walk in all His ways, and to cleave to Him,
Deu 11:23 then Jehovah shall dispossess all these nations from before you, and you shall possess nations greater and mightier than you.
Deu 11:24 Every place where the sole of your foot treads shall be yours, from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the Euphrates River even to the furthest sea shall be your border.
Deu 11:25 No man shall stand before you. Jehovah your God shall put your dread and your fear on the face of all the land on which you tread, as He has spoken to you.
Deu 11:26 Behold! I set before you today a blessing and a curse:
Deu 11:27 a blessing if you hear the commandments of Jehovah your God which I command you today;
Deu 11:28 and a curse if you will not hear the commandments of Jehovah your God, but will turn aside out of the way which I command you today, to go after other gods which you have not known.
Deu 11:29 And it shall be when Jehovah your God shall bring you into the land to which you go to possess it, that you shall set the blessing on Mount Gerizim, and the curse on Mount Ebal.
Deu 11:30 Are they not beyond the Jordan, behind the way of the sunset, in the land of the Canaanites that live in the Arabah, opposite to Gilgal, beside the oaks of Moreh?
Deu 11:31 For you are to cross over the Jordan to go in to possess the land which Jehovah your God is giving to you; and you shall possess it and live in it.
Deu 11:32 And take heed to do all the statutes and the judgments which I am giving before you today.

Num 25:9 And those that died by the plague were twenty four thousand.
Num 25:10 And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
Num 25:11 Phinehas the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, has turned My wrath away from the sons of Israel while he was zealous for My sake among them, so that I did not consume the sons of Israel in My jealousy.
Num 25:12 Therefore say, Behold, I give to him My covenant of peace.
Num 25:13 And it shall be to him, and to his seed after him, the covenant of an everlasting priesthood, because he was zealous for his God, and atoned for the sons of Israel.

Num 25:17 Vex the Midianites, and you shall strike them;
Num 25:18 for they are vexers to you, because of the wiles with which they have beguiled you in the matter of Peor, and in the matter of Cozbi the daughter of a ruler of Midian, their sister, who was struck in the day of the plague because of the matter of Peor.

Num 24:12 And Balaam said to Balak, Did I not speak to your messengers that you sent to me, saying,
Num 24:13 If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the mouth of Jehovah, to do good or bad of my own heart. What Jehovah speaks, that I will speak.
Num 24:14 And now, behold, I go to my people. Come, and I will counsel you what this people shall do to your people in the latter days.

Num 22:12 And God said to Balaam, You shall not go with them. You shall not curse the people, for it is blessed.
Num 22:13 And Balaam rose in the morning and said to the leaders of Balak. Go to your land, for Jehovah has refused to give me leave to go with you.
