24 “No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.

Money makes a lousy God. It will never raise the dead, or give sight to the blind. Money won’t love or forgive you. Money can’t heal your body. Yet a lot of people think “Ohh if I only had a million dollars” or some other amount of money. But money won’t solve the real problem.

Fear of not having enough drives a lot of people to want more money. They are afraid that they won’t have enough. They think that money will solve the problem. The problem is “fear” not the money. Look, even if you had all the money in the world the fear would not go away. You would be rich and afraid instead of poor and afraid. Deal with the fear instead of dealing with the money.
